SECTORS OF INTERVENTION
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, As we know the Good News proclaims Jesus Our Savior, who did marvels for the needy and poor. He healed the blind, deaf, leper, paralytic and even those who touched him were healed from their infirmities. His healing ministry is continued, even today, through the church. Pathanamthitta diocese, though in its initial stage, in spite of financial constraints, have concentrated on being the presence of Christ for the afflicted, neglected and not welcome people in many a realms. KARUNYA BHAVAN: Home for the mentally challenged and Autistic people at Lakkoor, Konny is one of our prime concerns. We have 40 mentally sick men, who are from the whole of India, speaking many-a-languages. We provide them shelter, food, clothing, Medicare, rehabilitation and all the more soothing personal care and attention, free. Snehagiri Missionary Sisters who are specially trained in this field of service adds more flavor to this unmatched healing ministry offered by the Diocese of Pathanamthitta. This Divine Apostolate is possible only with the gracious and benevolent financial support of generous donors and good souls inside and outside India. I remember and pray for all with gratitude who support this noble cause. Our Lord said, In so far as you did this to one of these least brothers of mine, you did it to me (Mt. 25, 40). I wish that this dictum of Jesus the Divine healer compel you out of His Love to join us in this noble and sublime cause with your prayers and sacrificial offerings. God Bless, Most Rev. Yoohanon Mar Chrysostom Bishop of Pathanamthitta
